NORTH YORK — Select Food Products, a Canadian manufacturer of sauces, salad dressings, condiments has introduced a new brand identity to initiate its next chapter, which includes a plan to double its Ontario-based production capacity in the next 12 to 18 months.

Andrew Mitchell acquired Select Food Products back in 2015. Under his ownership, the company has reportedly upgraded its manufacturing processes, equipment, production lines, streamlined its portfolio and focused its emphasis on quality and safety.

“Select has gone through a major change to enable superior quality and scale, while maintaining speed and agility and we are ready for the next phase of growth for our business,” said Andrew Mitchell, owner, Select Food Products in a statement.

In its announcement, Select Foods stated that the pandemic years have “shone a light” on the fragility of global supply chains, heightening the importance of strengthening local supply chains to improve food security. With this lesson in mind, the company has also committed to investing in new assets and automation, with a plan to double its Ontario-based production capacity in the next 12 to 18 months.
