LANGLEY — ReFeed Canada announces that it is now the exclusive distributor of Canadian AgriChar products in North America and a distributor in British Columbia for Alpha Green Milling’s Alfalfa meal products.

ReFeed is expanding its range of regenerative soil inputs for agriculture, horticulture, and Home + Garden, trying to become a leading manufacturer and distributor of natural growing products.

Canadian Agrichar makes organic charcoal-infused soil products using their patented pyrolysis process which sequesters CO2 by turning biomass which would decompose or be burnt into stable carbon. The resultant BioChar is formulated into a variety of CHAR+™ blends which remineralize and remediate the soil to help promote plant growth, hold moisture, and prevent soil leaching.

Alpha Green Milling Co. is a subsidiary of Canadian producer Western Alfalfa Milling Co. that makes Nutrient Pure fertilizer using alfalfa forage which they process into pellet form using only heat and steam. This plant-based soil amendment, conditioner, and fertilizer reportedly adds over micronutrients and macronutrients to soil and builds a healthy root system by improving soil structure.

“We’re really pleased to announce these new partnerships with Canadian Agrichar and Alpha Green Milling,” said ReFeed CVO Stuart Lilley. “ReFeed is focused on becoming the leading manufacturer and distributor of trusted regenerative soil inputs made from traceable, all natural ingredients.”

“This aligns perfectly with our existing zero-waste nutrient recovery operations and localised manufacturing and will make ReFeed a destination of choice for growers and a leader in the movement toward sustainable, regenerative growing methods to heal our soil and feed future generations.”
