Protech Group acquires Excalibur Paints & Coatings Ltd.

Manufacturing equipment will now be relocated within existing Protech Group facilities in the United States
The Protech Group has announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the liquid coatings business of Excalibur Paints & Coatings Ltd. (Excalibur Paints) based in Wichita Falls, Tex.
The acquisition was official on June 4. Manufacturing equipment will now be relocated within existing Protech Group facilities in the United States.
Excalibur Paints formulations and products will be integrated under the Protech Group portfolio of liquid coatings brands.Excalibur Paints is a protective coatings development and manufacturing company with over 20 years of experience that specializes in production of numerous unique, special and environmental friendly products. The company’s product line includes Epoxy Systems, Alkyd Coatings, Corrosive-inhibitive Primers, Polyurethanes and Chemical Resistant linings.

Despite the global pandemic, this is the third acquisition within the last year for the company. TheProtech Group recently acquired the coatings division of ACG Industrie (France) and the liquid coatings manufacturer, Winslow Browning Inc. (USA).
