Plexus: fiscal Q3 earnings snapshot

The electronic manufacturing services company posted revenue of $814.4 million in the period
NEENAH, Wis. (AP) — Plexus Corp. (PLXS) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $27.6 million.
On a per-share basis, the Neenah, Wisconsin-based company said it had profit of 95 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 99 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 77 cents per share.
The electronic manufacturing services company posted revenue of $814.4 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $800.2 million.
For the current quarter ending in September, Plexus said it expects revenue in the range of $875 million to $915 million.
Plexus shares have risen 12% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $87.58, a rise of 18% in the last 12 months.
