PC&D makes highly engineered packaging solutions for global Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs

TROY, Mich.—Packaging solutions firm Packaging Concepts + Design, LLC (PC&D), based in Troy, Mich., has been acquired by its management team, with backing from private equity firm O2 Investment Partners, LLC.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PC&D makes highly engineered packaging solutions for global Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs. The company handles complex packaging requirements including design, engineering, sourcing, integrated packaging, program management, assembly and logistics.

“We now have the resources to take advantage of the significant growth we see in our existing markets as well as capture market share in other niche segments that we do not currently serve,” said Richard Kaspers, President & CEO of PC&D.

Founded in 1914, PC&D also serves the consumer, retail and food/beverage markets.

O2 Investment Partners is a Midwestern based private equity firm that seeks to acquire a majority interest in small and middle market manufacturing, niche distribution, and select service and technology businesses.
