Many of the women named are part of the manufacturing industry and involved in the automotive industry.

MISSISSAUGA — Mercedes-Benz Canada announces a cohort of Mercedes-Benz Emerging Leaders Award winners, as part of the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) 20th Annual Top 100 Awards Gala. The 14 winners will be recognized at the gala, themed ‘Live Your Truth,’ on November 17, 2022 at the Fairmont Royal York Toronto.

First launched in 2018, as part of the OEM’s global She’s Mercedes platform, the Mercedes-Benz Emerging Leaders Award recognizes professional women (aged 30-40) who are seen as high-potential contributors and who have achieved successive leadership positions.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz Emerging Leaders Award recipients are:

  • Racheal Awe, Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO, Canadian Tire Corporation

  • Jane Hung, AVP, Corporate Development, Definity Financial Corporation
