As of Jan. 26, Toro has received four reports of missing roll pins in Canada but no reports of injuries.

A Toro snowblower has been recalled in Canada and the United States due to an amputation hazard.

The recall applies to the 2021 Toro Power Max 826 OHAE, model 37802, sold between November and January.

Health Canada says roll pins located in the handle latching assembly can crack and fall out, preventing the auger/impeller from being disengaged.

This would cause the auger/impeller to spin at full speed any time the engine is running, posing a potential injury hazard to users.
