VANCOUVER — Hapbee Technologies, Inc. has launched the Hapbee Smart Sleep Pad, a sleep-oriented pad that is powered by Hapbee’s digital wellness app.

The company says that over 70 per cent of Americans suffer from different types of sleep disorders such as chronic insomnia, interrupted sleep as well as issues related to falling asleep or getting sufficient deep or restorative sleep.

A growing number of these consumers are turning away from stimulants and chemicals and looking to ergonomic solutions, according to Hapbee.

The company has focused its efforts on applying feedback from both consumers and enterprise clients to engineer its digital wellness technology into a recognizable consumer product.

The pad measures approximately 12 by 18 inches and is roughly 0.5 inches thick. Its exterior is made of soft, quilted material with a foam padded centre. Hapbee designed it for use on the bed under a pillow or as a pillow, while traveling as well as for behind the back for comfort and relaxation while a person is seated. The pad is thin and cushioned for use in different places.

It also features a 10 inch coil that is 50 per cent larger than the Neckband.

“The Smart Sleep Pad represents a major milestone for our company and for our customers,” said Yona Shtern, CEO of Hapbee in a statement.

“After months of careful research and lots of feedback from our community of users, we are delighted to have designed an effective, natural, user-friendly product designed especially for sleep – our largest category of use.”
