Companies in mining, oil extraction, and psychology can expect to see gains over the next few years, according to IBISWorld Research.

The firm pinpointed five industries that not only came out of the recession with a profit, but will keep turning one over the next three years:

* Psychologists, Social Workers and Marriage Counselors
* Gold and Silver Ore Mining
* Mining Support
* Copper, Nickel, Lead and Zinc Mining
* Oil Drilling and Gas Extraction
