SARNIA, Ont.—Labour officials with the federal government are investigating after a worker died at an oil refinery in Sarnia, Ont.
Imperial Oil says the contractor was found unconscious beside a tanker truck in a loading area around 8 a.m. Dec. 16.
He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.
The provincial Ministry of Labour was called in but says its federal counterpart is handling the investigation since the site falls within their jurisdiction.

The man’s name and age have not been released.
