Feds grant $450K to aviation software developer Arkys

The repayable grant from Canada Economic Development’s Quebec Economic Development Program will facilitate Arkys' marketing

VAL-D’Or,, Que.—Network programming, administration and application developer Arkys Web Software Inc. has received $450,000 in federal funding to commercialize its Skeye Aviation Systems software suite.

The repayable grant from Canada Economic Development’s Quebec Economic Development Program will facilitate Arkys’ participation in trade shows, international prospecting and the hiring of a director of market development.

Canada Economic Development’s Quebec Economic Development Program said in a press release the funding should result in the creation of 10 jobs.

The Skeye suite of applications includes a flight ticket revenue management system, a flight operations management system with FAA verifications and an online ticketing module.
