FedDev Ontario announces over $4.2M for Dishon Limited

VAUGHAN — On Dec. 9, Francesco Sorbara, Member of Parliament for Vaughan–Woodbridge, announced over $4.2 million, through the Aerospace Regional and Recovery Initiative (ARRI), for Dishon Limited.

Operating out of two facilities in Vaughan, Ontario, Dishon Limited produces components for parts used in the aerospace sector, such as landing gear, engines and fluid systems. Through this investment, the company will employ new manufacturing equipment, allowing for the commercialization of up to 200 new parts. This will help them expand into new markets like space and electrical aviation. The project is expected to increase revenue by up to $18 million and create 50 new jobs in Vaughan.

“Aeropace manufacturing is massively capital intensive, and we are extremely grateful in having FedDev Ontario as a partner to support the next decade of manufacturing growth in Space, Engines and the Ontario ecosystem. The ARRI funding is a crucial piece of Dishon’s growth strategy and enables us to take our company, skills, and employees to the next level of service for our customer base,” said Ilan Dishy, President, Dishon Limited.
