The independent panel of judges will select seven regional winners who will be announced in July.

TORONTO — EY Canada announced the regional finalists in the EY Entrepreneur Of the Year® 2022 Ontario program on May 16. Selected by an independent panel of judges, 22 businesses have been recognized for trying to transform our world through innovation, growth and prosperity.

“It’s amazing to see so many entrepreneurs in Ontario driving forward with purpose,” says Stephanie Lamont, Entrepreneur Of The Year Ontario Program Director. “What stands out in this year’s cohort is the focus on environment, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. Whether clothing, beverage, skin care, industrial products or beyond, these entrepreneurs are taking a business-to-human approach to enable their stakeholders to consume sustainably and build a better world for their people and communities.”

Now in its 28th year in Canada, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program tries to support entrepreneurs across Canada as they turn ideas into powerful businesses that can deliver a national and global impact. The program works in tandem with EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ and Entrepreneurs Access Network while trying to build an equitable and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem for all.
