LONDON, Ont.—Dr. Oetker Canada Ltd. has officially inaugurated a frozen pizza production plant in London, Ont., the company’s second manufacturing facility in the country, two months after it opened.

Operational since mid-March, the plant will be the company’s production hub for its North American pizza operations.

The facility is home to all three of Dr. Oetker’s pizza brands, including Ristorante, Casa di Mama and Panebello, and will eventually pump out 50 million frozen pizzas a year for the North American market.

“We are excited to have opened our first North American frozen pizza plant in London,” Dr. Christian von Twickel, executive vice-president at Dr. Oetker Canada, said in a statement.
