
Canada to provide $137.9M to quantum research

OTTAWA — The federal government has announced plans to invest $137.9 million in grants to help advance the country’s National Quantum Strategy.
The government will provide the funds through NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s program called CREATE (Collaborative Research and Training Experience.)
These new investments will build on close to $384 million in funding that NSERC has provided for quantum research at Canadian post-secondary institutions over the last 10 years.
