CAN-ENG Furnaces International delivers mesh belt heat treatment system

CAN-ENG Furnaces International, Ltd., has recently prepared the shipment of an 1,800 kg/hr Continuous Mesh Belt Heat Treatment System for an existing customer located in the Piedmont Region of Italy. CAN-ENG is trying to support manufacturers of safety-focused critical fasteners, and was reportedly one of the reasons CAN-ENG was chosen again for their second capacity expansion. This European project represents its fifth installation for CAN-ENG’s specialty fasteners with operations in Europe, South America, Mexico, and USA.

CAN-ENG was chosen to supply this system based on its reported reliability and soft-part-handling features. The high-volume fastener system integrates energy efficient combustion and waste heat recovery technology, atmosphere-controlled mesh belt hardening system, oil quench, post wash system, temper furnace, soluble oil system, bi-directional conveyor discharge, and CAN-ENG’s Process Enhancement Technology (PET™) system. CAN-ENG’s PET™ system provides the user with access to vital Industry 4.0 features which includes product traceability, detailed process data for continuous process improvements, comprehensive equipment diagnostics, cost analysis, and inventory management.
