Microcoal technology decontaminates and upgrades low-grade coal to deliver similar energy output and emissions as higher grade coal
VANCOUVER—MicroCoal International Inc., a subsidiary of Vancouver-based green-energy investment firm Carbon Friendly Solutions Inc., has signed a Letter of Intent with an Indonesian engineering group to build a patented coal-conversion unit.
PT Citicon Energy (CEN) wants a commercial MicroCoal unit for their PT Wijaya Tri Utama power plant facility in Banjarmasin, the capital of South Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Carbon Friendly says its Microcoal technology decontaminates and upgrades low-grade coal to deliver similar energy output and emissions as higher grade coal.
Both companies expect completion of the project plan for the installation in about a month.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Carbon Friendly Solutions Inc., through its subsidiaries, develops energy efficiency technology, renewable energy and reforestation projects that have the potential to generate revenue.
