MILAN, Italy: The biennial Technology Exhibitions Week—hosted at Fiera Milano [Milan’s fair and exhibition centre] in May—united three technology shows, attracting 28 companies from abroad and showcasing 952 trademarks of direct and indirect exhibitors.

The combination of BIAS, the biennial international automation, instrumentation, microelectronics and ICT for industry exhibit; Fluidtrans Compomac, which features fluid power and mechatronics; and Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control was a 40,000-sq.-m. four-day exhibition displaying cutting-edge technology and solutions for a variety of industries, such as automotive, chemical, petro-chemical, food energy and machinery.

The exhibition buzzed as technicians, engineers, manufacturers and procurement officers from across Italy networked and comparison shopped for the next best technology and solutions.

Along with the exhibitors, the show offered a full schedule technical learning workshops, debates between exhibitors and analysts, tutorials on solutions for pressing industry issues and market surveys and analyses.
