SNC-Lavalin’s chairman of the board resigns

MONTREAL—Embattled engineering and infrastructure company SNC-Lavalin has announced that its chairman of the board Ian Bourne is leaving his post, effective immediately.

Bourne will not stand for reelection at its next annual meeting of shareholders, and has been replaced as chairman by Lawrence Stevenson.

Mr. Bourne served as a director of SNC-Lavalin since 2009 and as chairman of the board since May 2013. He was interim CEO of SNC-Lavalin from March 2012 to October 2012.
