Petroleum HR Council to merge with Enform

The council will continue to focus on labour market information in the upstream oil and gas sector
CALGARY—The Petroleum HR Council of Canada is being acquired by not-for-profit safety organization Enform Canada.
The move will consolidate the safety and training services of Enform and the council’s human resources services into an integrated national entity serving Canada’s oil and gas industry.
The deal should close on April 1, 2013.
Both organizations share core relationships with industry associations, leaders, enterprises and government organizations. The two organizations also have worked out of the same office facilities for several years.
The council will continue to focus on labour market information in the upstream oil and gas sector, as well as its Careers in Oil and Gas programs.
