TORONTO—Aecon Group Inc. says it has appointed Jean-Louis Servranckx as the company’s president and chief executive officer.

The company says Servranckx will take the role on Sept. 4 to replace John Beck, who will return to his previous role as executive chair of the board.

Aecon says Servranckx has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including as CEO of Eiffage Infrastructures Branch.

Beck stepped into the role of interim CEO in late 2016, having served in the role in the past.
