Company's $13 million expansion will create 50 full-time jobs
CAMBRDIGE, Ont.—Southern Ontario’s Grand River Foods is getting $1.3 million of assistance from the provincial government as it kicks off a $13 million retrofit and expansion of its facility.
The investment will help create 50 jobs and retain another 315 at the Cambridge, Ont. food manufacturer.
“Support from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund will help us increase our new product offerings and innovation to meet our customers’ needs, while staying local and creating more jobs in our community,” Grand River’s president, Dean Cebulski, said.
The company manufactures more than 200 different food products, which reach markets across Canada. Grand River will use the funds to expand its processing plant, purchase new equipment and diversify its product lines.
