Ontario manufacturer MTM Automation investing $1.8M in new equipment

Precision parts and automation company to add six jobs over course of two-year project
GUELPH, Ont.—MTM Automation and Aerospace Manufacturing Inc. is scaling up with a $1.75 million investment in new equipment and personnel.
The Toronto-area company, which make precision components and automation systems for the aerospace, automotive and oil and gas industries, will increase its capacity with the new machinery, as well as expand into new markets.
The Ontario government is supporting the project with a $175,100 investment.
“This funding will help us become more competitive in an aerospace industry, and meet increased market demand,” Marijan Munjic, the company’s president, said.
MTM expects the expansion to add six jobs at its Guelph, Ont. plant.
The company plans to complete the project by 2018.
