
Piramal Pharma Ltd. introduces new board members

The appointments come ahead of its planned de-merger from Piramal Enterprises Ltd.

MUMBAI — Piramal Pharma Ltd. has announced the addition of three new members to its board of directors.
The company welcomes Peter Stevenson, Nathalie Leitch and Sridar Gorthi to its board. Piramal explained in its announcement that the appointments come ahead of its planned de-merger from Piramal Enterprises Ltd.
Under the de-merger and upon approval by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Piramal Pharma Ltd will be listed on the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange in India. As an independently listed entity, PPL feels it will be in a position to support the needs of its customers and help reduce the burden of disease on patients.
About the new board members
Peter Stevenson brings to the company his knowledge in contract manufacturing, business operations, supply chain management and operation in complex regulatory environment.
Sridhar Gorthi is an authority in corporate law, M&A and private equity. His experience spans across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, insurance, banking and financial services, technology, telecom and media.
Natalie Leitch is a subject matter expert in pharmaceuticals and the U.S. generics industry, with domain experience in creative product strategies and formulations.
