Global Affairs Canada is now accepting applications from manufacturing companies interested in participating in its upcoming R&D mission to Germany.

The Canadian Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industry 4.0 R&D Partnering Mission in Germany takes place from January 19 to 24, 2020.

The program, which is run through the Embassy of Canada in Berlin and the National Research Council Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), creates an opportunity for small- and medium-size enterprises to uncover industrial R&D collaboration opportunities.

Specifically, projects geared to AI manufacturing between Canadian and German organizations will be considered, with the intention of bringing new products and services to market within three to five years.
