Bird Construction Inc. enters contracts for two wind farm developments

MISSISSAUGA — Capstone Infrastructure Corporation has awarded engineering, procurement and construction contracts for two wind farm developments to Bird Construction Inc.

The company will construct the Wild Rose 2 Wind Farm in Cypress County, Alta., approximately 20 km southeast of Medicine Hat. It will have a rated capacity of 192 MW of renewable energy. The Buffalo Atlee Wind Farm contract has a rated capacity of 61.7 MW, and will be located approximately 100km northwest of Medicine Hat, Alta.
