Halifax firm ClearPicture gets $500K to boost operations

HALIFAX—A Canadian software company with an office in Halifax has been given a $500,000 repayable loan to help beef up its East Coast operations.
ClearPicture Corp. says it will use the loan from Nova Scotia Business Inc. to help grow its sales team and marketing programs.
The company, which specializes in cloud-based software, also has offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
Its clientele includes global companies such as IMP Group, IBM and Sony.
Nova Scotia Business Inc., the province’s business lending agency, says the $500,000 is a secured, interest-bearing loan repayable over four years.
