Canadian companies are providing cleantech solutions to boost renewable energy and capture carbon
EDMONTON—Some of the most innovative solutions to greenhouse gas emissions are being developed by Canadian companies, according to the Climate Change and Emissions Management Corp. (CCEMC), an Alberta based independent organization aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote adaptation strategies.
Evergreen Energy Technologies, for instance, is bringing fuel cell power generation technology to remote, off-grid industrial applications. Inventys Thermal Technologies has developed a solid material to soak up and extract carbon dioxide. With the help of funding from the (CCEMC), they’re poised to export their solutions around the world.
