Man was crushed between two transport trucks and had no vital signs
VAUGHAN, Ont.—Police say a 51-year-old Markham man has died after an industrial accident in Vaughan.
It happened at about 6:45 a.m. Friday (in the area of Keele Street and Highway 7) in the city north of Toronto.
Police say the man was crushed between two transport trucks and had no vital signs when officers arrived on the scene.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say it’s unclear what happened but the Federal Ministry of Labour has been called in as the trucks involved are inter-provincial transport trucks.
The identity of the victim was not being released until next of kin could be notified.
