Cleantech Canada, in association with the Climate Change and Emissions Management Corp. (CCEMC), has launched Cleantech Directions 2014, a survey and think-tank report offering insight into the Canadian clean technology sector.
Conducted by Toronto-based Northstar Research Partners in the spring of 2014, the survey portion of the report polled executives at more than 650 companies to take a snapshot of Canadian industry’s involvement and investment in clean technology.
According to the report, 80 per cent of survey respondents said Canada is a good environment to start and expand a cleantech company, while 50 per cent said a lack of capital or financing is the biggest barrier to investment in sector solutions.
