Sending 500 units to China
CALGARY, Alberta: A Canadian medical imaging company has signed a major deal to supply a Chinese organization with its technology.
Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd (IDC) has agreed to supply China Charity Federation (CCF) with digital radiography equipment over the next 60 months. The value of the contract is approximately $30 million. Calgary-based IDC has been a supplier to CCF in the past. In 2009 the two companies signed their first deal in which CCF purchased 300 units from IDC.
Li Bao Zhong CCF vice-president said, “I am pleased that the Canadian-based IDC organization has been a strong supporter of the China Charity Foundation and its charitable Sunshine Medical Aid Project which has focused its efforts on providing the people of China with disaster relief, care for seniors and orphans, education, poverty relief, medical assistance, and assistance for the disabled.
“The IDC DR technology has shown strong performance during the fulfillment of the first contract for 300 units for the Sunshine Medical Aid Project which resulted in over 430 units from IDC being installed and it was an easy decision to select IDC for the CCF’s next major project.”
The new order is for 500 units that will be installed in medical facilities across the country.
