CGI estimates it will receive $74 million over 10 years from the deal

MONTREAL—CGI Group Inc will continue to provide IT services for Bombardier Recreational Products Inc for another decade under a renewed and expanded contract awarded by the maker of the iconic Ski-Doo snowmobiles. CGI estimates it will receive $74 million over 10 years from the deal, announced February 11.
BRP is a private company spun off from Bombardier Inc, which makes passenger rail equipment and airplanes. Apart from snowmobiles, Bombardier Recreational makes the Sea-Doo jet skis and other watercraft as well as Can-Am all-terrain vehicles and the Can-Am Spyder, a three-wheel highway motorcycle.
