Combines education with networking
SOUTHFIELD, Michigan: The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) has created a new program designed to help automakers continue their economic recoveries.
“Powering Performance on Demand” includes complimentary e-learning programs and materials covering topics such as materials management and global working conditions. It will also offer networking and appreciation events for AIAG volunteers and publication access for the volunteers’ companies.
Membership will be open to any new business that wants to join and to all existing members, who will receive an automatic upgrade and membership.
“As we work to recover from the largest economic downturn since the Great Depression, we wanted to reaffirm our commitment to our membership and the industry by providing the new generation of automotive professionals more extensive access to both the ‘know-how’ and the ‘know-who’ they will need to be successful,” said Scot Sharland, executive director of AIAG.
More information about the enhanced membership program is available at www.AIAG.org/performance.
