Trimac Transportation lands deal with Holcim (Canada) for three-year term
CALGARY—Trimac Transportation Ltd, a provider of bulk trucking, logistics, tank repair and cleaning services, has been awarded a new contract to haul product for Holcim (Canada) Inc. The award includes Holcim’s current Atlantic Canada business covering Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. The contract is expected to generate more than $15 million in revenue over the initial three-year term.
“The addition of this business further solidifies our relationship with Holcim Canada and enhances Trimac’s market share of the bulk trucking sector in Atlantic Canada,” said Ed Malysa , Trimac’s president and COO. “This opportunity will strengthen our capabilities to service all our customers across Eastern Canada.”
Holcim (Canada) Inc is a vertically integrated building materials and construction company that manufactures cement, aggregates and ready-mix concrete and provides construction services to many of Canada’s infrastructure projects. Holcim Canada is a member of Holcim Group, a Swiss-based multinational with operations in more than 70 countries worldwide. Trimac is a provider of bulk trucking services. The company also performs repairs, maintenance and tank-trailer cleaning services for both the Trimac fleet and for third party commercial customers.
