Work scheduled to wrap up by end of 2013
CALGARY: CEMATRIX (Canada) Inc has received signed contracts for oil sands and infrastructure applications in the amount of $3.2 million, bringing this year’s total contracted work to $8.6 million. About $2.3 million are scheduled for completion in 2013, with the rest to be finished by the end of this year.
“Project successes and a strong marketing focus in Canada and the United Sates continues to result in growing acceptance for the use of cellular concrete in various construction applications,” said Jeff Kendrick, CEMATRIX president and CEO.
CEMATRIX is an Alberta corporation with its head offices in Calgary that manufactures and supplies cellular concrete products with applications in oil and gas construction and infrastructure construction. Applications for cellular concrete include tunnel grouting, bridge abutment and retaining wall backfill, insulation of shallow utilities and as a floating base over weak and unstable or seismic prone soils, among other uses.
