Precision manufacturer Omni-Lite Industries wins $6.3M aerospace contract

New order a "vote of confidence" in firm's expanded manufacturing facility in Southern California, company says
LOS ANGELES—Tech company and precision manufacturer, Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. has won a three-year, $6.3 million contract with an unnamed American aerospace company.
The second multi-year contract it has penned in the last six months, the company said the deal is a “tremendous vote of confidence” in its expanded manufacturing plant in Southern California.
With the aerospace industry expected to make significant strides over the next decade and beyond, the company’s president, Allen Maxin, said Omni-Lite is making a long-term effort to be an important contributor to the growing segment.
The deal adds to the manufacturer’s backlog, raising orders to US$11.1 million.
Originally based in Alberta, the company is now headquartered in Cerritos, Calif.
