Quebec pipe maker buys REHAU’s Prescott plant
PRESCOTT, ONT.— Brunet Concrete Group, a Valleyfield, Que.-based pipe manufacturer, has purchased REHAU’s Prescott, Ont. plant.
REHAU is a polymer manufacturer with operations across the globe. The company’s Prescott plant was established as the first municipal pipe extrusion facility in North America 40 years ago.
Brunet will now oversee the plant’s production and distribution of municipal PVC pressure, sewer and storm drain pipe.
President Bernard Brunet said the purchase will help expand the company’s Canadian role in the PVC industry.
