PM Plastics Ltd. (Windsor, Ont.) is investing $3.8-million in a project to make battery components for hybrid vehicles. The five-year plan for this involves buying new injection moulding machines, aided by a $563,000 grant from Ontario’s Next Generation of Jobs Fund. PM Plastics expects to create 42 jobs over the five years of the program.
PM Plastics was founded in 1989, and operates from a 25,000 sq ft plant. It has employed up to 100 staff, but currently has currently has 60 on its payroll.
