Shikatani Lacroix is hosting a webinar on January 16, 2013 looking at current trends shaping consumer behavior and more.
Toronto-based branding and design firm Shikatan Lacroix Design Inc. is hosting a webinar on January 16, 2013: RE:Store – Redefining the future of retail.
According to a new North American study commissioned by Shikatani Lacroix, 59 per cent of U.S. shoppers “showroom”, meaning they browse for products in-store but then buy them online.
Walmart and Best Buy lead for retail stores used for “showrooming,” whereas Amazon.com dominates in online purchases. Shikatani Lacroix says that one-quarter of U.S. consumers who shop online rarely or never buy from a traditional retailer’s website, with some 45 per cent of them shopping at Amazon.com.
“The future looks uncertain for bricks and mortar retailers unless they learn how to bring the online shopping experience into the retail store environment,” says Jean-Pierre Lacroix, president of Shikatani Lacroix.
In this webinar you will learn:
- How current trends are shaping consumer shopping behaviors;
- The emotional attributes that consumers associate with online and retail shopping;
- How major retailers stack up on the Re:Store Index, which measures the strength of relationship customers have with retail brands.
