Woman dead after industrial accident north of Toronto

Incident occurred at plastics manufacturer near Highways 7 and 400 in Vaughan, Ont.



VAUGHAN, Ont.—A woman is dead after an industrial accident in Vaughan, Ont., north of Toronto.

Police say it happened at about 5 a.m. March 30 at a plastics manufacturer near Highways 7 and 400.

The female worker was pinned under a piece of machinery.

Her name and age have not been released.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate.
