TurboSonic receives $800K emissions control order from European lead maker

Metal producer ordered TurboSonic's SonicKleen wet electrostatic precipitator technology
Waterloo, Ont.—Clean air technologies firm TurboSonic has received an $800,000 order from a European metal producer for its particulate and emissions control for lead production.
The undisclosed non-ferrous metal producer has ordered TurboSonic’s SonicKleen wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) technology.
According to TurboSonic, the order was placed to upgrade existing pollution control systems in a bid to meet new, lower emissions standards.
Delivery is scheduled for late 2012.
