$193M order for Toromont

The Toronto-based company has inked the major deal with an Australian natural gas producer.
TORONTO, Ont: Toromont Industries Ltd. subsidiary Enerflex Ltd. has sold US$193 million worth of of multiple gas compressor units and process equipment to QGC PTY Ltd. of Brisbane, Australia.
The compressor units being produced by Enerflex will form part of the natural gas gathering infrastructure in support of the Queensland Curtis LNG project underway in Queensland, Australia and in the domestic production of natural gas. Shop production will commence in the fourth quarter of 2010 with deliveries beginning mid 2011 and continuing through to the first quarter of 2013.
Toromont Industries Ltd. Compression Group specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of compression systems for natural gas, coal-bed methane, fuel gas and carbon dioxide in addition to process systems and industrial and recreational refrigeration systems.
