Valiant to use ABB robots

Windsor—Valiant Corp. and ABB Inc. have signed a strategic systems integrator agreement to join integration and robot technologies for the heavy industries sector.

Valiant will provide ABB robot-based solutions in heavy metal fabricating applications, such as welding, grinding, de-burring, cutting, drilling, tapping and machine tending for the aerospace, construction, forestry and alternative energy sectors.

ABB is a Switzerland-based global supplier of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems, software and other supporting services with more than 18,000 employees.

The company has more than 19,000 robots in use around the world.

Windsor-based Valiant is a production systems provider that has been engineering, manufacturing and integrating turn-key automated systems with 18 facilities in 10 countries.
