Hanwei Energy Services to supply plastic pipelines to Kazakhstan’s North Buzachi oilfield

VANCOUVER—In consecutive announcements, Hanwei Energy Services Corp. has won $3.4 million in pipe supply contracts for new salt mining application in China.

This mark’s the second contract announcement in consecutive days for the Vancouver-based energy services firm, which has already won $17 million in Chinese contracts this year.

Hanwei is the biggest Chinese manufacturer of high pressure, fibreglass reinforced plastic pipe used by oil and gas, infrastructure and industrial companies.

The company also announced it won $2.1 million worth of oil pipe supply contracts in Asia this week.

The company will supply plastic pipes to several energy customers in the central Asian country of Kazakhstan.

The pipes will be used in Kazakhstan’s North Buzachi oilfield.
