The acquisition target is an aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter and business jet markets

BERWYN, Pa.—Triumph Group, Inc. has agreed to acquire Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems (GPECS) from United Technologies Corp.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the current fiscal quarter.

The acquired business, which will operate as Triumph Engine Control Systems, LLC and be included in the Aerospace Systems Group, is expected to add approximately $195 million in annual revenue and to be immediately accretive to earnings.

Located in West Hartford, Conn., GPECS is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter and business jet markets with approximately 530 employees at its West Hartford facility.

Triumph Group, Inc., headquartered in Berwyn, Penn., designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls a broad portfolio of aerostructures, aircraft components, accessories, subassemblies and systems.
