The approval comes following the January signing of a Limited Environmental Liability Agreement

VANCOUVER—The Province of New Brunswick has granted Trevali Mining Corp. approval to operate its Caribou Mine.

Trevali is now authorized to operate its underground mine, surface mineralized material storage and crushing facility, the concentrator plant, mine water treatment plant and its tailings impoundment.

The permit includes all land, buildings, processes and activities associated with the operation of the Caribou Mine and enables Trevali to build new structures within the currently disturbed area.

The approval comes following the January signing of a Limited Environmental Liability Agreement regarding the historic environmental liabilities at the Caribou mine and mill complex located in the Bathurst Mining Camp.
