Pupatello joins PwC’s global business unit

Former Ontario minister of economic development and trade left provincial politics in 2011.

TORONTO—Sandra Pupatello, former Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Trade, has joined PwC as its new director of business development and global markets.

She will assist clients in developing investment opportunities in markets such as China, India and Brazil, develop outbound investment globally, and implement public-private partnerships.

Pupatello led Ontario’s economic development portfolio, overseeing industry; international trade; investment; and small business.

She was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in 1995 and was appointed to Cabinet in 2003. During her renowned career she also served as Minister of Education, Minister of Community and Social Services and Minister Responsible for Women’s Issues.
