Company boosts European manufacturing capacity with deal

RIVIERE-DU-LOUP, Que—Premier Tech is expanding its footprint on the European continent. The company has announced it has agreed to acquire Atelier Plastique Forézien, a French company that specialized in the rotational moulding of thermoplastic materials.

The Quebec-based firm said the transaction will increase the manufacturing capacity of its French-based business unit, which has already achieved 55 per cent sales growth over the past two years.

“This acquisition perfectly aligns with the go-to-market strategy deployed by ETG in response to its strong growth of recent years. It will allow the Group to maintain its progression from solid ground,” Henri Ouellet, president of Premier Tech’s Environmental Technologies Group, said.

Premier Tech said Atelier Plastique Forézien, which is located in Andrézieux-Bouthéon in central France, shares its business philosophy. The deal will add more than a dozen rotational mould specialists to the company’s team.
