Project to create 10 jobs, grow company's overseas presence

ORTON, Ont.—A farm equipment manufacturer located just west of Toronto is scaling up with a $2 million investment in its operations.

Jaylor Fabricating, which makes total mix ration feed mixers for beef and dairy farmers, plans to use the funds to expand its plant and make better use of its floor space. Along with a company investment, the Ontario government is contributing $207,500 to support the project.

Jaylor expects the expansion to boost its productivity and increase its capacity, as well as create 10 new jobs at its East Garafraxa, Ont. plant.

The manufacturer currently ships its equipment to more than 50 countries and anticipates the expansion will help it grow its exports.
