Nordson to acquire Xaloy for $200 million

Xaloy will become part of Nordson’s Adhesive Dispensing Systems division.

WESTLAKE, Ohio—Nordson Corp. says it will acquire Xaloy Superior Holdings, Inc. for $200 million.

Nordson says it expects the deal to close in its third fiscal quarter and that the deal will be accretive to the company’s earnings in the first full year of operation.

Nordson Corp. engineers, manufactures and markets products and systems for dispensing adhesives, coatings, sealants, biomaterials and other materials. It also makes fluid management, test and inspection, UV curing and plasma surface treatment technology from facilities and support offices in more than 30 countries.

New Castle, Pa-based Xaloy makes melt delivery components for injection and extrusion machinery in the global plastic processing industry and has operations in the U.S., Germany and Thailand and will be part of Nordson’s Adhesive Dispensing Systems division.
